Memoirs of a Viennese's prostitute. Originally written in the local Viennese slang of the beginning 20th Century. Hefty wording is essential for the authenticity of the story. The author (Felix Salten) remained unknown for many years. The book hardly describes the hard life of prostitutes at that time; however, it is a quite good genre picture of the life in Vienna in the end time of the Habsburg Monarchy. The Novel was first published in 1906, height years before World War One (The Great War) started.
